Livorno will accommodate the sixth edition of Med Ports, than it will hold for the first time in Italy



Tomorrow to Livorno, for the first time in Italy, the sixth edition of MED Ports will open the clappers, the international manifestation dedicated to the shipping and the logistics that this year it will have which main topics the role of the Mediterranean and its ports in the picture of shipping total and the strategies of development and the challenges of the technology in a more and more competitive market. The manifestation, than will hold near Grand Hotel Palazzo, will see the participation of 50 exhibitors and is attended beyond 30 international relatori and 300 between representatives of the institutions, harbour operators, and coming experts of field from all the regions that appear on the Mediterranean.

The event, that it is organized from Transport Events, will tomorrow open with a day all dedicated to the visit of the terminals of the port of Livorno by the hosts and it will be developed in the two following days to a series of dedicated conventions to the main topics of the portualità around.

"Med Ports - he has emphasized the president of the Authority of Harbour System of the Tyrrhenian Sea Northern, Stefano Corsini - assumes detail importance because it is the first time who is carried out in Italy and the choice of Livorno testifies the interest and the consideration in confronts of our port. We are proud of being able to accommodate this initiative and depend on a good participation".

In the within of the event, Wednesday beginning from the 13,00, near Sala Mascagni of Grand Hotel Palazzo, the president of the Association of the Italian Ports (Assoporti), Zeno D' Augustin, will hold a press conference in occasion of which the evolution of the traffic in the Italian ports in comparison to the main European and Mediterranean competitors will be traced.
