- Agreement for the implementation of the third link road
between the port areas of the island of Augsburg and the mainland

- The construction of a third bridge will cost about 21
million euros

 The Port System Authority of the Sea of Sicily
Eastern, the General Staff of the Navy through the Command
Marittimo Sicilia, the Directorate of Works and State Property of the
General Secretariat of Defence and the Municipality of Augsburg have
signed a programme agreement for the implementation of the
third route connecting the port areas of the island of
Augsburg and the mainland. The construction of a third bridge that
connect the island of Augusta to the mainland is a work
essential infrastructure to ensure the logistic connection
of the civil and military port facilities that host, among the
others, also technical-nautical support services and essential for
the performance of port activities in the port of Augsburg.-
- All the burdens necessary for the realization of the third way
linking, related to activities
technical-administrative, execution and testing, are charged
of the Port System Authority and financed with funds
found as part of the programming of the National Plan of
Recovery and Resilience. The work, the estimated cost of which is
about 21 million euros, will be completed by the end
of the first half of 2026, as planned for the
infrastructure works financed under the PNRR.
