Line. The new unit of the "Excel" class will set sail
for its maiden voyage in April 2028 from Galveston, in
Texas
With a length of 344 meters and a gross tonnage of 180,000
tons, the ship will be able to accommodate over 6,000 passengers. The
Carnival Tropicale will be powered by natural gas
liquefied and will be based on the design of the sister ship Carnival
Festivale, whose delivery by Meyer Werft is
scheduled for the first half of next year.
