EC may delay TACA fines again
(Sched Net)
September 9, 1998
THE European Commission says it may, once again, postpone a decision on whether the Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement (TACA) should be fined over alleged abuse of their dominant position in the trade.
The delays so far, have been due partially to the opposition of certain European governments who are arguing against fines on their national carriers.
