A cette question, Etienne Schouppe, l’administrateur délégué de la SNCB, nous a répliqué: “Nous sommes intéressés, mais il n’y a aucun engagement de notre part...” Certaines informations émanant des Pays-Bas via l’agence ANP font état de cette perspective et une partie de la presse flamande part du principe que c’est déjà fait... Chez ECT, on ne confirme ni ne dément, considérant qu’il s’agit là d’une affaire qui relève des actionnaires. Au niveau de la SNCB, nous avons enregistré la surprise du patron d’Inter Ferry Boats, la filiale impliquée dans toutes les opérations de manutention portuaires du groupe ferroviaire belge, tant en Belgique qu’à l’étranger (exception faite des 33% détenus par la SNCB dans le Noordzeeterminal à Anvers). Il nous a laissé entendre que tout cela était très prématuré. Assez curieusement, les informations relatives à cette éventuelle prise de participation font allusion à ABX Logistics, alors que cette entité n’a rien à voir avec les terminaux portuaires.
