  • China Merchants plans new 3.5b yuan terminal
    China Merchants Holdings (International) Co, owner of stakes in the country's five largest container ports, plans to spend 3.5 billion yuan (S$679 million) to build a multi-purpose terminal for bulk cargo and containers in Shenzhen, chairman Fu Yuning said.
  • Asian Terminals gets 25-year extension
    LISTED Asian Terminals Inc (ATI) has been granted a 25-year extension to its contract to manage and operate the state-owned South Harbour terminal in Manila. ATI, controlled by Dubai's DP World, has been operating the terminal since 1989 when it was awarded a concession by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).
  • Keppel unit delivers AHTS vessel to Gulfmark
    KEPPEL Singmarine has delivered another offshore support vessel on schedule to Gulfmark Offshore Inc. Sea Cheyenne, an anchor handling tug/supply (AHTS) vessel, will be deployed in Vietnam. She was christened last Saturday by Mrs Rex Carroll Ross, wife of Rex Ross, director of Gulfmark. The vessel is an in-house design by the Marine Technology Development division, a technology arm of Keppel Offshore & Marine.
