NINE shipyards have been fined and warned for safety lapses following a surprise check by Ministry of Manpower (MOM) officers earlier this month.
The inspectors found lapses at the nine shipyards they checked and issued 25 warning letters and composition fines of between $500 and $5,000, depending on the seriousness of the offence ......
