In August the traffic of the container in the port of Los Angeles has dropped of the -15%
Reduced by almost 90% the number of ships waiting to enter port compared to the beginning of this year

Explaining the reasons for the substantial decline in activity, Port of Los Angeles Chief Operating Officer Gene Seroka has specified that 'certain goods for the autumn season that usually arrive in August they were shipped earlier to make sure they reached their destination on time. In addition, inflation fears and high levels of Stored goods have made some traders and sellers of more cautious e-commerce».
With regard to maritime traffic congestion to and from the port of Los Angeles, Seroka pointed out that the port is been able to reduce the number of waiting ships by almost 90% to enter the port compared to the beginning of this year.
In the first eight months of 2022 the Californian airport has enlivened altogether about 7.2 million teu, with a reduction of -1.6% on the same period of 2021.
