stations, has purchased eight Eurolight Dual bimodal locomotives of
Stadler with the aim of improving efficiency, flexibility and
and the sustainability of services on the national network. The
Eurolight Dual locomotives, equipped with a Stage V diesel engine,
they can travel in electric mode wherever they are
available the overhead power line, reducing the consumption of
emissions, and noise. Regenerative braking
further improves energy efficiency, by re-feeding
the energy in the power line.
