- In the first three months of 2022 the traffic of goods in ports
Croats increased by +3.7%

- Passengers have grown by +23.7%

In the first three months of this year Croatian ports have
handled 5.15 million tons of goods, with a
progression of +3.7%, of which 1.28 million tons
enlivened from the port of Omisalj (-24.0%), 1.22 million
tons from the port of Ploce (+52.5%), 1.11 million tons
from the port of Rijeka (+10.9%), 607 thousand tons from the port of Bakar
(-2.1%) and 493 thousand tons from the port of Split (-0.5%).-
- The Statistical Office of Croatia has announced that, of the
total traffic of goods, that of solid bulk, which is
equal to 32% of the overall figure, recorded a growth of
+30.7%, that of containerized goods, which is equal to 19%
of the total, has marked an increase of +17.9%, while the traffic
of liquid bulk, which accounts for 40% of the global figure, has
showed a decrease of -16.7%.

- Passenger traffic was 2.96 million
people (+23.7%). In the ferry segment alone, passengers are
over 2.9 million (+23.3%) and in that of cruises about
9 thousand, traffic that in the first quarter of 2021 was absent due to
of the pandemic.
