 Yesterday the Management Committee of the System Authority
Port of the Western Ligurian Sea has approved contributions in favor of
of the CULMV "Paride Batini", recognizing the company
Genoese port an amount equal to 353 thousand as a contribution to
rely on the training activities for staff carried out in the
fourth quarter of 2021 as well as €1.67 million as
balance of the contribution relating to the fewer days recorded in the
course of 2021 compared to the year 2019 attributable to the changes
consequent economic conditions of the Italian port system
to the Covid-19 emergency. To the port company was
also recognized a total sum of 1.74 million euros for
the re-employment in other tasks of personnel not suitable for
carrying out port operations and services in the period included
between April and December 2021.-
- During the meeting, the Management Committee expressed
among other things, opinion in favor of the release to Porto Antico of Genoa
Spa, a public company owned by the Municipality of Genoa (54%)
and the Ligurian Sea Port System Authority
Western (3.6%), of a single concession lasting 25 years
(until 2047) on areas and water mirrors in the Levante area of the
industrial district of ship repairs already subject to
multi-year and licensed licensor titles.
