- Montenegro joins the European Sea Ports Organisation in
quality of observer member

The maritime authorities governing the ports of the
Montenegro have joined the European Sea Ports Organisation
(ESPO) as observer member. "With this
new accession as an observer - commented the president
of the Association of European Ports, Annaleena Mäkilä -
we are filling a missing connection in our network of ports
by ESPO. Montenegro is preparing for the accession of the European Union.
We are pleased to be able to already consider its ports as a part
of the ESPO network. We can't wait to start a profitable
cooperation and we are happy to assist the ports of Montenegro
in their preparation for joining the Union
