
On Friday, the terminal operator APM Terminals of the
Maersk Group has inaugurated the first phase of its new
container terminal in the Brazilian port of Suape, which will be the
Latin America's first fully electrified plant

August 2022). Initially the port terminal, which will become
operational in the second half of this year, will have a
annual traffic capacity of 400 thousand TEUs. APM Terminals
specified that its investment in the new landing place amounts to
to over 350 million dollars.
