
In the second quarter of this year, the financial performance of the
of the Danish logistics group DSV recorded a marked
growth still produced by the impetus determined by the acquisition
of the German Schenker completed over a year ago and whose
completion, from an operational point of view, is expected by
the end of 2026

April 2025). In the period, the company's revenues amounted to
DKK 76.7 billion (€10.3 billion), with a
increase of +23.7% on the second quarter of 2025. Revenues alone
deriving from shipping activities totalled 41.7
billion kroner (+20.9%), of which 23.7 billion generated by the
air shipments (+27.9%) which handled 558 thousand tons
of goods (+9.8%) and 18.0 billion crowns from shipments
maritime sectors (+12.8%) which handled a traffic equal to
million TEU containers (+6.0%). Revenues from transport
totalled 24.5 billion crowns (+18.4%) and those
products from contract logistics 13.5 billion (+34.6%).
Quarterly EBITDA was 8.9 billion crowns
(+28.4%) and EBIT of €6.2 billion (+32.4%), with a contribution of €3.8 billion
billion from air and sea shipments (+9.1%), 999 million
from road shipments (+92.1%) and 1.5 billion from contract
logistics (+111.5%). Net profit was over 2.6
billion Danish kroner (+11.5%).
DSV announced that the annual synergies determined
from the acquisition of Schenker is expected to stand at nine
billions of crowns, with a full impact from next
year while in the 2026 financial year they are expected to be at least
four billion. The related transaction and integration costs are
of 11 billion crowns and will be accounted for as
extraordinary items (in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to
almost 1.5 billion, bringing the related extraordinary items
acquisition to approximately 7.4 billion starting from the announcement of the
transaction).
