In flessione l'import-export di Hong Kong nel 2001
Il valore delle riesportazioni è diminuito del 4,6%, quello delle importazioni del 5,4%

Il Census and Statistics Department di Hong Kong ha reso noto oggi il dettaglio degli scambi di Hong Kong con l'estero avvenuti nello scorso dicembre e nell'intero 2001. Lo scorso anno il valore complessivo della riesportazione, cioè dell'uscita delle merci estere dal territorio doganale di Hong Kong, è stato pari a circa 170,2 miliardi di dollari USA, con una flessione del 4,6% rispetto al 2000. Le principali diminuzioni sono state registrate nei confronti di Singapore (-15,9%), Francia (-14,6%), Taiwan (-10,9%), Regno Unito (-10,7%), Germania (-9,5%), Stati Uniti (-9,3%) e Corea del Sud (-8,7%). Lievi incrementi sono stati totalizzati nei confronti di Giappone (+1,8%), Repubblica Popolare Cinese (+1,6%) e Olanda (+1,6%). Il valore delle esportazioni nazionali è ammontato a 19,7 miliardi di dollari (-15,2%).
Lo scorso anno il valore delle importazioni è stato di 201 miliardi di dollari (-5,4%). In sensibile flessione - rispetto ai principali partner commerciali di Hong Kong - sono risultate le importazioni da Taiwan (-13,1%), Corea del Sud (-12,2%) e Giappone (-11,2%), mentre in aumento del 3,4% sono risultate quelle verso la Malaysia e la Germania.
