 Il ministero dei Trasporti giapponese ha reso noto l'ammontare degli ordini ricevuti dai cantieri navali nazionali e approvati dal dicastero in novembre. Lo scorso mese le ordinazioni, relative alla costruzione di 13 navi, sono ammontate a 530,913 tonnellate di stazza lorda, con un calo del 29,1% rispetto allo stesso mese del 1998. Il calo del tonnellaggio rispetto al precedente mese di ottobre 1999, quando il totale fu di 743.770 tonnellate e 23 navi, è invece del 28,6%
