IL COMMERCIO ESTERO IN LIGURIA

I dati Istat sull'import e l'export nella nostra regione dimostrano che nel '97 le esportazioni (pari a 4.841 miliardi di lire) sono state inferiori alle importazioni (pari a 5.481 miliardi), in controtendenza, dunque, rispetto alla bilancia commerciale italiana. In confronto al '96, il valore dell'import è cresciuto del 9,96% e quello dell'export del 4,16%. Cresce in particolare il valore dell'importazione di mezzi di trasporto (più 64,05%), di carni (più 28,3%) e, con un certo distacco, di prodotti energetici (più 17,06), mentre scende quello degli autoveicoli (meno 17,53). Le esportazioni, misurate in lire, di mezzi di trasporto crescono (più 67,47%), così come quelle del legno e dei mobili lignei (più 59,91%). Cala notevolmente, invece, l'export di prodotti della petrolchimica (meno 28,37%). In diminuzione, sia pura abbastanza contenuta, anche l'esportazione di prodotti chimici (meno 2,71%), mentre sale la loro importazione (più 6,54).

In tutte e quattro le province, la bilancia commerciale segue l'andamento passivo di quella regionale. Ad Imperia rispetto al '96 l'import passa da 458 a 496 miliardi mentre l'export scende da 509 a 468 miliardi. A Savona, le importazioni salgono a da 946 miliardi a 1.008 miliardi e le esportazioni da 965 a 978. Genova registra un aumento dell'import (che passa da 2.570 miliardi nel '96 a 2.698 nel '97) e un calo dell'export (da 2.723 a 2.581). Aumentano, invece, nella provincia di La Spezia sia le importazioni (che salgono da 1.008 a 1.278 miliardi) che le esportazioni (da 449 a 813 miliardi).
